Keeping the momentum going

John Sheppard interviews Tom Williams, Chair of the Society’s Professional Affairs Board.
TOM Williams took the Chair of the Professional Affairs Board (PAB) for three years from April 1999. PAB is currently one of the Boards that co-ordinate the handling of Society affairs on behalf of Council; other Boards include the Scientific Affairs Board (SAB) and the Membership and Qualifications Board (MQB). PAB is the one which, in broad terms, brings together representatives of the various Divisions and Special Groups. That, at any rate, is the situation at the time of writing.
