Finding the origins of the cognitive trick.

11 June 2019

In response to the Editor’s request concerning the origin of this cognitive trick, I instantly recognised it not from the Eysenck and Keane textbook, but from the Reader’s Digest Junior Omnibus. It is one of three similar ‘Quizzles’ presented in triangles, credited as being adapted from Ralph A. Brooks in This Week. Neither publication is dated, but I guess I was given the Omnibus when I was about 10 or 11 (1960/61).
